Olive’s very first bistro was established at the prestigious Poona Club, welcoming members and their guests to a more laidback, pared down Mediterranean experience, set in a sprawling century-old villa, with tinkling fountains and grand courtyards. 

The all-day eatery offers space and time for unhurried appreciation of the simple, robust menu of fresh ingredients, locally sourced and gently put together, to spectacular effect. Tender beetroot and ricotta walnut salad. Crisp wood-fired pizzas. A pepper-crusted filet mignon, perfectly seasoned, done to a turn. Vanilla pannacotta that melts on the tongue. And a flavourful assortment of burgers, soups and sandwiches, served fresh through the day by Chef Sagar Joshi and his team. 

Long, lazy days dissolve into evenings throbbing with the energy of music and fine spirits. And the city’s happy people stay on in celebration, late into the night.
